Edward Shipton has over 30 years experience managing client relationships at the most discreet and trusted level. With long standing relationships across the art market and wealth management, Edward’s recognition of the value of independent advice for fine art collectors developed whilst managing global art advisory services for private banks.

A commitment to exceptional client service and an emphasis on “best practice” across all collecting and collection management decisions, form the foundations of his approach to client relationships.

An international insurance broker from 1984, Edward joined the art market in 2003, graduating from Christie’s Education in 2007. Edward then joined an international art advisory firm based in London, managing the collecting requirements of global private banking clients and their museums.

EJS Private was established in 2015.
